Mr. Nathan E. Hawley serves as the Director for the Munitions and Logistics Readiness Center at the Joint Munitions Command. In this position, he has responsibility for providing joint conventional munitions acquisition sustainment, readiness and logistics direction for all U.S. military services and allies.

From December 2015 to January 2019, he served as the Director of Supply Planning where his primary focus areas involved establishing an integrated business plan for all JMC products and services.  The directorate led the munitions Enterprise Integrated Logistics Strategy and Sales and Operations Planning, ensuring JMC has the resiliency to meet the critical capability of delivering munitions to the joint warfighter.

Mr. Hawley’s previous assignments at JMC include: Chief of Materiel Management Planning where he conducted logistics program management and planning for wholesale munitions global distribution, storage inventory and surveillance. He also served as Chief of the Logistics Integration. His primary responsibilities were managing the ammunition inventor accountability and stock control, storage, requisitions and cataloging for the wholesale munitions stockpile.  Mr. Hawley has experience with systems and enterprise resource planning in positions serving in the Army’s deployment and sustainment of Logistics Modernization Program and managing legacy systems such as the former Army Electronic Product Support Logistics website for U.S. Army Materiel Command.

Mr. Hawley is a native of Peoria, Ill., and a graduate of St. Ambrose University, Davenport, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Masters of Business Administration.  Mr. Hawley began his federal career in June 2004.

Mr. Hawley is Level III Army Acquisition Corps certified in Life Cycle Logistics and is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps.  He is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.  Mr. Hawley has received the Meritorious Civilian Service Award.  Under his leadership, the JMC Sales and Operations Planning efforts have earned two Class A awards, in 2015 and 2016.
