Bio

Ms. Kathryn Raymond is a Science and Technology Manager in the Digital Battlespace Management Division of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Ms. Raymond leads research and development programs for next generation situational awareness for chemical and biological defense, with a focus towards augmented reality and artificial intelligence technologies. Prior to joining DTRA as a Government Civilian, Ms. Raymond spent 10 years in private industry as a senior scientist supporting numerous offices in the Department of Defense and Federal Bureau of Investigation. Ms. Raymond holds a BS in Biology from George Mason University and a MS in Professional Studies – Weapons of Mass Destruction Defense from Rochester Institute of Technology.
