Dr. Will Bauder is a Physicist at the Government Accountability Office (GAO) where he evaluates emerging technologies and technical government programs and advises Congress, congressional staff, and policymakers. Since joining GAO in 2019, Will has worked on a number of technical areas, including GPS Modernization and Alternative Positioning, Navigation, and Timing in the DoD.

Prior to his time at GAO, Will worked as a program manager, technical advisor, and operations executive in the private and public sectors. His career has focused on defense and homeland security issues and technologies.

Will earned his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Notre Dame and his bachelor’s from Hamilton College with a major in physics and a minor in history.
