Bio

Mr. James Coffman assumed the position as Director, Acquisition Integration and Management Center (AIM), in January 2022 and served as the Deputy to the Executive Director since May 2017. A native of Boulder City, Nevada; Mr. Coffman attended Saint Leo University in Tampa, Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration. He also earned a Masters of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College and a graduate of JFK School of Government Senior Executive Fellow Harvard University.

During Mr. Coffman's time in AIM, direct support has been provided to numerous tactical, operational and strategic missions. Base Life Support (BLS) functions, maintenance and sustainment services were provided to installations through the use of Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP), and Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE).

Mr. Coffman has served many positions within the Headquarters, U.S. Army Sustainment Command (HQ ASC) including; Deputy to the Chief of Staff (CoS) G-4, ASC Chief of Staff and Deputy to CoS G3/5/7. He has also held other key positions such as Chief Operations Division HQ IMCOM, Explosives and Combat Range Manager, HQ US Army FORSCOM, and multiple global assignments as an Operational Safety Manager and Ammunition Surveillance Specialist.

Before Mr. Coffman began his civilian career, he served in the U.S. Military (Army).

Mr. Coffman's awards and decorations include the Army Sustainment Command EEO Champion of the Year Award (2015), six Superior Civilian Service Awards, and the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service.

Mr. Coffman is married, has five children and two grandchildren.
