Mr. Michael P. Connolly is an electronics engineer at the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, Aviation and Missile Center (CCDC AvMC) at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with honors from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1995. Since then, he has worked for the Army in various duties as an engineer specializing in radar systems, missile test sets, air and missile defense systems, and, since 2001, conventional missile fuzing and rocket motor ignition safety systems. He is a member of the Technical Steering Committee for the DoD/DOE Joint Munitions Program, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), the Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society, and the Eta Kappa Nu Electrical Engineering Honor Society.
