Awards

At this year's National Logistics Forum, which took place on March 15, 2022 in Salt Lake City, there were a number of awards that were presented. 

2021 Edward M. Greer Award

Presented to: Major General H. Brent Baker Sr., USAF (Ret)

2019 Logistician Emeritus Award

DoD Award for Supply Chain Operational Excellence

Presented to: Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Aviation: Pacer Phoenix TF33 Sustainment Plan 

“Through both established and new initiatives, DLA Aviation endeavored tirelessly throughout the fiscal year (FY) to live up to its motto of “Warfighter Always.” Tracking performance through focused metrics, DLA Aviation achieved a long list of truly impressive accomplishments in FY 2021. Strengthening strategic supply chains provided better support to DLA customers with internal savings to the agency.”

 

GEN William G. Tuttle, Jr., USA (Ret) Award for Business Acumen in Defense and Government 

Presented to: Andrew Rock, Fleet Readiness Center East, Department of the Navy 

“The phenomenal success in FY21 can be attributed to Mr. Rock’s effective, motivational, and superior leadership. By empowering and supporting the PCCs to continuously review work orders to improve accuracy, FRC East ensures on time or early delivery and optimized employee utilization.”
