For 27 years, Tom Polen has worked within Program Controls - planning and scheduling, cost analysis, tool development, Integrated Baseline Reviews and Validation reviews. Tom has always pursued development of simple methods to achieve stellar project results by applying lean principles to optimize and automate outdated manual processes. Without complicated process, Tom believes that analysts can truly thrive, providing maximum, persistent value to their project teams while steering projects to success. Tom’s passion is sharing his experiences, good and bad, as learning opportunities for the next generation of the program control community.
