Brandon Tseng is co-founder and COO of venture-backed defense technology company Shield AI, named one of Forbes’ 50 Most Promising Artificial Intelligence Companies and one of Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies in robotics.
 
Shield AI designs, develops, and builds AI products for the national security sector and first responders. The company creates artificial intelligence software and systems. Its current product offerings include Hivemind, a portable software that enables unmanned systems to perceive and act with minimal human input, and Nova, an artificially intelligent sUAS quadcopter that navigates indoors on its own while streaming video and map back to its operators. Nova has been in the hands of customers in the defense sector since 2018.   
 
Prior to founding Shield AI, Brandon proudly served in the US Navy for seven years. As a Navy SEAL, he served two deployments to Afghanistan and one to the Pacific Theater. Previously, he was the Assistant Chief Engineer aboard the USS Pearl Harbor (LSD-52) and deployed to the Persian Gulf.  
 
Brandon earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
