Who are we: Central Georgia National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA)
What we do: Promote collaboration between government, defense industry and academia in Central Georgia together to support our current National Defense Strategy and provide the very best for National Defense. Our chapter seek to “Connect, Share, Learn and Innovate”.
Chapter Mission Statement: Central Georgia NDIA mission is to develop a healthy and secure national security technology and innovation base that includes, government, academia, traditional and non-traditional defense partners. We seek to promote technological advantage over adversaries but require changes in industry, culture, investment and protection across national security innovation base.
Strategic Objectives:
- Increase collaboration across the Georgia’s defense enterprise
- Promote, support and participate in Georgia STEM events
- Strengthening the defense industrial base and workforce development
- Focus on technology trends
- Shaping new technology and innovation system
- Build security cooperation to include processes in foreign military sales and direct commercial sales
