Dr. Stewart is the founder and CEO of TextOre, Inc. a data analytics and Open Source Intelligence (OS/NT) services provider founded in 2000 with a focus on foreign media and data exploitation.
TextOre is a cornerstone of the US Defense and Intelligence community for the gathering and analysis of critical Chinese and Russian military information. Dr- Stewart conceived of the company, entered into licensing agreements with major software vendors, built a world-class team of geopolitical experts and analysts, and raised all capital required in the funding and growth of the company. TextOre, Inc. is a small business with a strong history of supporting the defense and intelligence communities, law enforcement, think tanks, and Fortune 500 companies.
Dr. Stewart possesses intimate knowledge of our greatest adversaries, including Chinese and Russian technologies and military capabilities and has published papers on Chinese aerospace. He has built a significant network over a period of more than 30 years with some of the largest defense companies globally, with a particular focus on Japan where he serves as an advisor to Japan's largest military equipment manufacturers. He is also a trusted resource in the development of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) with a deep understanding of equipment, technologies, and the defense industrial base.
Dr. Stewart earned a Master's and Ph.D. in Chinese Studies and International Affairs with a specialization in Chinese law at Georgetown
University. He also attended Yale University and the University of
Washington where he received his BA in Chinese Language and Literature. A successful entrepreneur with significant business development and management experience, he is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and proficient in German. Dr. Stewart has worked for more than 30 years in business and competitive intelligence in East Asia.
