Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Victory Solutions, Inc.
BioKris McGuire is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Victory Solutions, Inc., an award-winning technology development and engineering services firm founded in 2006. Headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, Victory Solutions operates worldwide, providing leading edge engineering services and technologies to defend the United States, explore Space and protect the Warfighter. Under Kris’s leadership, the company has achieved continuous success and growth expanding Victory Solutions’ presence into 7 states and 3 continents.
Kris finds developing an idea or product through all phases of its life cycle to be one of the most satisfying aspects of being a small business owner. She recently applied these company capabilities to help meet an urgent industry workforce development challenge involving Model Based System Engineering (MBSE). She worked with Auburn University and Calhoun Community College to create a unique 2-year Associates Degree in System Engineering Technology (SET). SET Interns, Apprentices and Graduates will provide government and industry engineers with the next generation of digital modelers in a shorter time and lower cost than current undergraduate and graduate programs.
As one of the first women assigned to the Air Force Special Weapons Center’s maintenance squadron at Kirkland Air Force Base, Kris experienced firsthand the importance of supplying the Warfighter with the appropriate tools to accomplish critical missions in a timely fashion. It was with this experience in mind, coupled with a proven ability to successfully identify, organize, fund, and start-up new projects, that Kris and her team initiated a research and development effort to design a portable system to defend the Warfighter against small rocket threats.
In addition to Victory Solutions’ support to DoD, Kris has maintained her company’s focus on helping design NASA’s Space Launch Vehicle (SLS) and Human Landing System (HLS). This support encompasses Design Engineering, Configuration and Data Management, System Engineering, and Test Integration. Victory Solutions’ excellent performance led to selection by NASA Marshall Space Flight Center as their 2019 Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year.
With a passion for improving the lives of our military and veterans, Kris has insured that Victory Solutions has an enduring commitment to serve our community. Kris has raised millions of dollars through both government and commercial sources for non-profit organizations ranging from the sustaining the arts to STEM Education projects. Additionally, Kris works tirelessly as a private citizen to develop service-disabled veteran’s initiatives at the grass root level and lobbied for more positive Warfighter support in Washington, D.C., like working to ensure the voting rights of the overseas military members at the Federal and State level. Kris is currently on the Board of Directors for National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and Still Serving Veterans.
Kris is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a B.A. in Liberal Arts. Her passion is spending time with her family and traveling with her husband.
