Tamara Jack is new leader of NDIA’s Finance Committee
ARLINGTON, VA – The National Defense Industrial Association announces Tamara Jack, an executive with defense consultancy LMI, as the new chair of the Finance Committee and member of the Executive Committee of this Arlington, Virginia-based defense trade organization.
“I am honored to have Ms. Tamara Jack join the NDIA board in these capacities,” said retired Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Arnold Punaro, NDIA’s board chairman. “The board will benefit greatly from her talent and expertise, and I am thankful to her for generously volunteering her time to serve in these positions.”
Jack takes the reins from Brad Feldmann, who recently concluded his term as Finance Chair. He was a member of the board of directors since October 2011, a member of the Executive Committee since October 2017 and the Finance Committee Chair since November 2017. “I want to give our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Brad Feldmann for his years of superb leadership on the NDIA board,” Punaro said.
Jack joins in service with other continuing Finance Committee members Dale Church, Raanan Horowitz, Terry McKearney and Rob Sues.
Jack is the chief financial officer, corporate secretary and treasurer for LMI, a consulting firm based in Tysons Corner, Virginia. In this role, Jack plans and executes LMI’s business strategy and is among the leaders of its financial strategy and planning and corporate initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions. She was a director and associate general counsel at LMI from 2005 to 2015, rejoined the company as chief legal officer and corporate secretary in 2017, and added chief financial officer to her responsibilities in 2019.
Previously, she served as vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary of Blumont, Inc. and served on the board of directors for its three subsidiaries. Jack currently serves on the boards of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Association for Corporate Growth National Capital.
