From CISA: Russian-sponsored cyber actors target cleared defense contractor networks

ARLINGTON, VA -- The National Defense Industrial Associaton shares this Feb. 16 advisory to members from the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency:

The Department of Homeland Security, FBI and the National Security Agency released Feb. 16 a TLP WHITE cyber advisory on Russian state-sponsored cyber actors targeting cleared defense contractor networks. 

From at least January 2020 through February 2022, these agencies have observed regular targeting of U.S. cleared defense contractors (CDC) by Russian state-sponsored cyber actors. The actors have targeted both large and small CDCs and subcontractors with varying levels of cybersecurity protocols and resources.
