ARLINGTON, VA – The National Defense Industrial Association issues the following statement about Air Force Gen. CQ Brown’s confirmation:

 

NDIA enthusiastically applauds the 98-0 unanimous Senate confirmation of Gen. Charles “CQ” Brown as the next U.S. Air Force chief of staff, a welcome show of unity as our nation looks to what’s next. 

 

This historic nomination and confirmation vote reaffirm Brown’s extensive experience, broad talents and skilled leadership. He is the right officer to lead our nation’s airmen into the future.  NDIA President and CEO Hawk Carlisle said of Brown: "He is perfect for the 22nd Air Force Chief. NDIA looks forward to working with him to ensure our airmen remain the best trained, best equipped in the world.  They deserve no less.”
