NDIA Statement on the House's Passage of the Disapproval Resolution on the Federal Contracts Blacklisting Rule

NDIA's statement on the passage of the disapproval resolution on the federal contracts blacklisting rule:

"The vast majority of federal contractors comply with existing labor laws, and NDIA supports the federal government’s efforts to ensure that responsible contractors receive federal contracts. NDIA has repeatedly expressed concerns that this rule not only discourages new entrants from joining the federal marketplace, it is duplicative and unnecessary. The Labor Department already has robust oversight and investigative capabilities to ensure that federal contractors are abiding by federal labor laws."
