Sue Schweim Tellier is the president and owner of JetCo Federal, a prime contractor in supply chain management and logistics serving in the defense industrial base. Since opening in 2007, JetCo Federal has gained a reputation for agile solution design and earned positive CPARS from federal agency clients. JetCo is an SBA- and WBENC-certified woman-owned small business and is CMMC and ISO 9001:2015 compliant. 

Prior to moving to the private sector in 2007, Sue worked in procurement marketing for the Michigan Department of Management and Budget (DMB). As DMB’s head of Supplier Diversity and Business Outreach, Sue trained more than 4,300 companies, teaching them how to bid on and win state government contracts. 

Sue volunteers time to support the defense industrial base and is an advocate for small and woman-owned small businesses. She is the Chair of the Women in Defense National Council and the President of Women in Defense – Michigan Chapter. She is a long-time member of the National Defense Industrial Association and participates in the Logistics Division Meetings. Sue serves on the Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) Board of Directors and is the Vice Chair for their Leadership Advisory Council (LAC). 

Sue also gives time in her home state of Michigan. She is on the board and the executive committee for the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM), the largest statewide small business advocacy organization in the country. She is also a gubernatorial appointee; Governor Whitmer selected Sue to serve on the Michigan Strategic Fund, which has broad authority to promote economic development and create jobs. 

Sue holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Affairs Management from Michigan State University and a Graduate Certificate in Economic Development from Wayne State University. 

Sue and her husband Jon have an adult son in college. They are empty nesters except for three very spoiled (and naughty) dogs. (JetCo is a pet-friendly workplace. The dogs run the office.)
