Bio
Peter Green leads KBR’s U.S. Government Solutions Defense and Intel (D&I) business, providing scientific, engineering, and technical solutions to advance defense and national security interests on land, at sea, in the air, space and cyberspace.

Pete leads a 5,000+ member team of specialists including scientists, engineers, aircrew, and other technical professionals who serve the U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Over 30% of D&I employees are veterans or reservists and the majority hold security clearances. Areas of expertise include acquisition, systems engineering and integration, space domain awareness, artificial intelligence and machine learning, C6ISR, research and development, test and evaluation, sustainment engineering, missile defense and directed energy.

As an employee of KBR and its heritage companies since 1985, Pete previously served as Engineering Business Unit SVP, Aerospace Group President and as VP of Business Development and Strategic Planning. Throughout his career, Pete has served in a broad array of roles including chief pilot, systems engineer and program manager. For more than 15 years, he served as a contract test pilot supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division. Logging over 6,000 career pilot hours in military aircraft, Pete retired from the Naval Reserves as an Aerospace Engineering Duty Officer (AEDO).

Pete is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and holds a bachelor’s degree in physics. He also earned a master’s degree from the University of Southern California in engineering management and holds an executive management certification from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He serves on the board of directors of the National Defense Industrial Association.
