Katie Selbe is chief executive officer of GRVTY, a defense technology company. She has responsibility for the company’s strategic direction. Selbe has more than 25 years of experience in executive, operational, and engineering leadership roles at large, middle-market, and emerging national security companies.

Under her leadership, GRVTY is embarking to ll a critical gap in the defense technology ecosystem. The company delivers automated, next-generation solutions that integrate seamlessly to support a variety of sensitive and complex customer mission needs.

She is building a culture that values ingenuity, dedication, and performance and leading the company through a period of transformation and growth.

Prior to her current role, Selbe served as chief operating officer at Eqlipse Technologies, chief operating ocer at BlueHalo, senior vice president and general manager at Alion Science and Technology, and a senior director at Northrop Grumman. She started her career as a systems engineer at Frontier Technology.

She earned a bachelor’s in industrial and systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a master’s in systems engineering from George Mason University.

She is a board member of the National Defense Industrial Association and the Industry Advisory Board (IAB) for the MATRIX Lab at the University of Maryland.
