Bio

Amy currently serves as Acting Senior Vice President, Leidos Government Affairs (LGA). In this capacity she directs a government affairs staff of nine, manages all resources for LGA and is the lead advocate for Leidos on Capitol Hill. Prior to assuming the role of Acting SVP, Amy was the Vice President and Deputy for LGA, responsible for management and oversight of the LGA Legislative Team and all Congressional priorities across the Leidos enterprise.

A former Congressional staffer with 17 years of a unique and diverse Capitol Hill portfolio, Amy was the first female Director of Floor Operations in the House of Representatives for a Leadership office (House Majority Whip Roy Blunt.) As Floor Director, she was responsible for the daily operations of the Whip Team, directing vote counts, negotiations, and grow-the-vote strategies to pass critical legislation. Amy also served for almost 6 years as Policy Director and Deputy Staff Director for the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, managing major legislative achievements such as the 2012 Surface Transportation Reauthorization and 2012 FM Reauthorization from Committee markup through Conference negotiations.

Amy joined Leidos in November 2020 after 7 and 1/2 years at The Boeing Company. She served as Senior Director for International Operations and Policy at Boeing, managing a team of executives responsible for interface with the Departments of Commerce and State, Foreign Embassy relationships, and sanctions/International sales issues on Capitol Hill; she held the rotational position of Chief of Staff for Government Operations; and was a Director of Legislative Affairs for several years with a portfolio that covered all of Boeing's Navy and Marine Corps priorities on Capitol Hill as well as the Commercial Aviation Portfolio. She played an active role in Congressional management and communication in the aftermath of the 737 MAX tragedies.
