Amy Murray is recognized for her leadership and ability to shape vision in high-profile business, consulting and government roles. Recently, she served as the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense and Deputy for Industrial Policy concurrently. At the Pentagon, Ms. Murray addressed COVID-19’s challenges while leading efforts to assess, protect, invest in, and promote the U.S. and allied Aerospace, Defense, and Commercial industrial bases to meet national economic security needs. As Director, Office of Small Business Programs, she oversaw$80B of procurements supported by data analytics to achieve small business inclusion goals and ensure the continuation of U.S. sourcing, critical to national security. Previously, Ms. Murray served two elected terms as a member of the Cincinnati City Council establishing policy and managing a $1.4B budget with oversight of city government. And in the private sector at Procter & Gamble and in consulting, her career specialized in international business development. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Arizona State University. Ms. Murray and her husband live in Cincinnati, Ohio.
