Chair Conference Letter

Welcome to the National Defense Industrial Association’s 2025 Undersea Warfare Division Fall Conference, and thank you for joining us in the Submarine Capital of the World. The theme "Undersea Warfare – Enabling the Navy Warfighting Concept " focuses on readiness for the possibility of war, enhancing the Navy’s long-term advantage, contribution to the Joint warfighting ecosystem, and how Allies and partners help deliver combined lethality.

This year’s conference is 15-17 September and will be classified at the SECRET//REL USA, AUS, GBR level. Also, in support of our growing AUKUS partnership, this event will include AUKUS speakers and attendees.

There will be an outstanding group of plenary speakers representing the full spectrum of undersea warfare expertise, including AUKUS partners.  The technical presentations on the second day will cover a wide variety of topics that will include program managers, technical presentations, and intelligence updates with focused tracks enabling attendees to select topics of interest.

Conference attendance provides you the opportunity to gain insight into the challenges and capability gaps that the Navy faces across the entire spectrum of the undersea domain. Take advantage of this opportunity to hear our Defense and Navy leaders’ views on the issues confronting the Navy-industry-academia team as we navigate the waters of an uncertain future that will present new challenges to sustaining our undersea dominance.
