Danya Trent is the Vice President of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics’ AMMM International Programs in Marietta, Georgia. The primary international customer interface, she is responsible for the AMMM International Line of Business, with a focus on value-creation strategy for all stakeholders through the execution and growth of the portfolio, including full product lifecycle contracts.
Ms. Trent previously served as the Vice President of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics’ F-16 Programs and site lead of the Greenville, South Carolina facility. In this role she was responsible for overall leadership, strategic direction, performance, and growth of the F-16 product portfolio, ensuring domestic and international customer satisfaction by meeting financial and contractual commitments throughout the product lifecycle. She also led the ~1,400-person operation in Greenville, which as the global home of the F-16, both produces and sustains the F-16 platform, as well as performs sustainment activities for other platforms.
Previously, Ms. Trent served as Vice President of Lunar Exploration Campaigns at Lockheed Martin Space, with responsibility for the Lunar Exploration market segment, including the Human Landing System campaign, to aid NASA in their goal to return humans to the moon by 2024. She also served as the Vice President for Program Management within Lockheed Martin Space, where she was responsible for functional program management and enterprise integrated planning.
Throughout her 23-year career with Lockheed Martin, Ms. Trent has held various leadership roles, including Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Portfolio Director for the Southwest Asia, Middle East, and North Africa (SAMENA) Region for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. She completed a two-year assignment in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), where she led the SAMENA portfolio and was the senior Lockheed Martin Aeronautics representative in the region. Her other international roles have included IFG Portfolio Director for Asia-Pacific Region, and F-16 Country Program Director for Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain.
She also completed a two-year assignment as the Senior Manager, Technical Assistant to the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics President, where she provided support to the company President and the Executive Leadership Team through cross-company integration activities, including corporate integration efforts. Other leadership experience has included Supply Chain Management and Finance & Business Operations roles across multiple platforms.
Ms. Trent holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business Management from Texas Christian University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University. She has completed several Lockheed Martin leadership development programs and is also a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University Executive Program Management Course.
She currently serves on the board of directors for Tata Lockheed Martin Aerostructures Limited (TLMAL), an India-based joint venture between Tata Advanced Systems and Lockheed Martin.
