Security Clearance Information

The SMO CODE is now closed. If you have registered and need to pass your clearance onsite, please be prepared to provide your full SSN to the NUWC Security Staff and provide a federally issued ID (CAC, License, or passport). The NUWC Security Staff will verify clearance & company/command in DISS and then give the green light to NDIA that they are cleared to pick up their badge. If the individual’s clearance cannot be verified in DISS or through other measures, they will be denied entry to the conference.

Please note, this conference has reached capacity. Onsite registration will not be allowed.

This event is classified at the SECRET level (SECRET//NOFORN). All attendees must be U.S. Citizens holding a secret clearance or higher.

Security clearances will be accepted starting August 1, 2023.  Please do not submit before August 1st. The deadline to submit your paperwork for security clearance is Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

Attendees are required to submit a visitor request through DISS to SMO Code NDIA23.

All DoD-affiliated personnel, including contractors, should send visitor requests via DISS.

For non-DoD attendees or personnel with no DISS account access, please email attendee clearance information to gina.m.santos2.civ@us.navy.mil and deanna.l.monell.civ@us.navy.mil. Visitor request forms should clearly be labeled "NDIA 2023". Information sent must be on company letterhead. There is no "standard form" available for emailing requests.
