Bio
Dina Halvorsen serves as program director for all Black Hawk sustainment programs at Sikorsky including the United States Army, Air Force, and all international and civil users. In this role, Ms. Halvorsen leads the strategy and execution of the Black Hawk sustainment portfolio and leads the sustainment strategy for Black Hawk modernization offerings. Her responsibilities include customer support, maturing the sustainment strategy, and focusing on growing transactional spares and repairs into long term, incentive-based contracts and partnership agreements. She also leads the coordination of proposals, business plans, and statements of work for all sustainment projects. Additionally, she serves on the board of the Boeing Sikorsky Aircraft Support Joint Venture supporting all aviation assets in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment and manages our maintenance and training facilities in Colombia. Previously, Ms. Halvorsen served as the director of Strategy and Business Development for all international and commercial sustainment at Sikorsky. In this capacity, Ms. Halvorsen was responsible for leading all aspects of business development including strategy, sales, product upgrades, proposal and contract development across our world-wide international military and commercial fleets. Ms. Halvorsen has also served as the director of the commercial and international business office responsible for leading all commercial and international bid, proposal and contracting activities across Sikorsky. Ms. Halvorsen joined Sikorsky in 2000 as an avionics engineer and has held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of engineering, sustainment, business development, and program management. She has worked on many of Sikorsky’s core programs including the Black Hawk and the S-92® and has led international partnerships in Latin America and the Middle East. Prior to joining Sikorsky, Ms. Halvorsen served as a consultant for the management consulting firm Accenture in New York, New York. She worked with a wide range of financial services companies and specialized in information and business technologies. Ms. Halvorsen graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Engineering. She received a graduate certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in System Design and Management.
