Bio

On January 30th, 2023 , Asha Belarski started as the General Manager of Military Customer Support in the Defense and Systems Organization. In this role, she is responsible for leading the field service, customer support, and support equipment teams as they ensure safe and reliable operations of the military fleets. She is also responsible for optimizing material forecasting, delivery, and inventory tied to longterm capacity planning and developing comprehensive services and upgrades for existing products. Asha was chosen for this role due to her expertise in customer and material forecasting, aftermarket sales, customer relationship building, and global team and culture leadership.

Asha began her GE Aerospace career in 2004 in the Edison Engineering Development Program. She held several Supply Chain roles in Assembly and Quality. She then completed Corporate Leadership Staff (CLS) for next-generation business leaders. On the CLS program, Asha served as a Senior Quality Assurance Manager in Evendale Manufacturing, Regional Engines Customer Program Manager at the Engine Service Celma (Brazil) facility, and Sales Support Director in Commercial Ops.

Asha then became the Regional Engines & Services Product Operations Leader where she was responsible for NPI introduction, delivery, and airframer relationships. In her next
assignment as the Services Cost Y Leader, Asha led a global team that built and improved processes for engine maintenance cost management at 14 global sites to deliver $400M of cost out.

Most recently, she served as the Commercial Spares Executive where she led a team responsible working with external MRO providers to understand their needs and deliver $6B annually in components to service their customers’ engines. 

Asha has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Asha is currently the co-leader of the GE Women’s Network Cincinnati Hub and has been heavily involved in employee resource groups and community service throughout her
career.
