Bio

Mr. Apollo currently serves as the F-35 JPO Product Support Manager (PSM) for the Naval Air Systems Command. As the PSM since May 2021, he constructs and executes the Global Support Solution (GSS) across the F-35 Enterprise to provide superior performance, reliability, and sustainability. In this role, Mr. Apollo frequently engages critical stakeholders on F-35 sustainment at Senior Executive levels within the Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, as well as international and industry partners. Prior to his F-35 PSM role Mr. Apollo was a Sustainment Executive with The Boeing Company, retiring in July 2020. His 35-year Boeing career was dedicated to military platform sustainment & logistics across DoD and foreign military customers. He is a subject matter expert in logistics disciplines related to public private depot partnership, organic stand-up and support, product support management, commercial derivative maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), performance based logistics (PBL) acquisition design and execution, modification & retrofit, training, supply chain management, intellectual property, incentive metrics, support equipment design & support, supplier management, reliability & maintainability, readiness analytics, contracts design, international support and DoD policies and processes. In a logistics capacity, Mr. Apollo led and supported programs for the DoD and international customers including CH-46 Sea Knight, CH-47 Chinook, F-15E Strike Eagle, F-22 Raptor, V-22 Ospreys, P-8A Poseidon, E-6B Mercury, F/A-18 Hornet, AH-64 Apache and others. As an executive, his focus shifted from program management and execution to strategic development of sustainment solutions aimed at increasing readiness and decreasing costs by leveraging outcome-based contracts and analytics solutions. Mr. Apollo spent 20 of his 35-year career on the venerable V-22 Osprey program where he was honored to contribute to the early design phase and execute fleet support for the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force Special Operations Command, and Japan Military of Defense. Prior to his retirement from industry, Mr. Apollo dedicated his time to mentor, coach, teach, inspire, and train the workforce of tomorrow as a lasting legacy. Mr. Apollo holds a bachelor’s of science degree in aircraft maintenance management from Parks College of Aeronautics, St. Louis University and an Executive MBA from Villanova University.
