Bio

BG Timothy P. White is the Director of Logistics and Engineering (J4) for United States Central Command (USCENTCOM). He is a native of Spencer, Massachusetts, and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Ordnance Corps through the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. His military education includes the Ordnance Officer Basic Course, the Combined Logistics Officers Advanced Course, the United States Army Command and General Staff College, the Joint and Combined Warfighting School (JPME II), the Air War College, and the Joint Staff's CAPSTONE course.

BG White has deployed to East Baghdad, Iraq, with the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM, and as the Combined Joint 4 (CJ4) of Regional Command-South (RC-S) at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, with the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM.

BG White holds two master's degrees; one in Public Administration from John Jay College of the City University of New York, and one in Strategic Studies from the Air War College. His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit with two Oak Leaf clusters, the Bronze Star with one Oak Leaf cluster, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with four Oak Leaf clusters, the Army Commendation Medal with three Oak Leaf clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with four Oak Leaf clusters, the Iraq Campaign Medal with Bronze Star device, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Bronze Star device, the NATO ISAF Medal (Non Article 5), the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Korean Defense Service Medal.
