Robotics Awards

There will be three awards presented at the 2022 Future Force Capabilities Conference & Exhibition on behalf of the NDIA Robotics Division. Below, you will see the awards that will be presented as well as the link to nominate a worthy candidate. 

 

Deadline to submit nominations is close of business Friday, June 3.

 

Defense User Recognition for Excellence Award

Criteria:
  • Must show excellence in using ground robotics in support of their service mission.
  • Must be a strong advocate for the development and use of ground robotics.
  • The individual will be highlighted from the appropriate and selected Department of 
     Defense organization.

Ground Robotics Champion Award

This individual is someone who has been instrumental in implementing the military use of ground robotic systems in combat operations.

Criteria:
  • Proponent for the integration of ground robotic systems into military operations.
  • Has been a strong advocate and spokesperson for the development of enabling
     technologies and broad applications of ground robotic systems.
  • The individual can come from the military, civil service, congress or outside the
     government

Ground Robotics Technology Innovator Award

This individual is a nationally recognized leader in the theory and design of intelligent systems and their application to robotics and automation systems.

Criteria:
  • Proponent for the integration of ground robotic systems into military operations.
  • Has been a strong advocate and spokesperson for the development of enabling
     technologies and broad applications of ground robotic systems.
  • The individual can come from the military, civil service, congress or outside the
     government
