Bio

Ms. Kathleen Bubniak is the Science and Technology Associate for Energetics and Warheads at DEVCOM Armaments Center. In this role she leads the strategic technology investment decisions which enable future forces, and leads Scientists and Engineers in the development of proposals, collaborations and new research opportunities.

Previously Ms. Bubniak led a research program focused on Additively Manufacturing Gun Propulsion systems, acting as a principal investigator as well as the program manager. Ms. Bubniak has experience working for the Armaments Center Director of Technology, developing strategic plans, technology roadmaps and S&T budgets. Prior to joining federal service, Ms. Bubniak acquired extensive industry experience in manufacturing, research and development, and supply chain management.

Ms. Bubniak received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University; a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine and a Master in Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology.
