Bio

Nanda Kumar is president, Aerospace Group, for Eaton, a power management company. Formerly, he was executive vice president, Eaton Business System. Nanda joined Eaton in 1990 and held positions of increasing responsibility in the automotive business, including plant manager for the facilities in Roxboro, North Carolina, and Massa, Italy.

In addition, he served as vice president and general manager for Supercharger, the specialty controls and valve actuation businesses and as president, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for the Vehicle Group.

Prior to joining Eaton, Nanda worked at the Robert Bosch Corporation. Nanda currently serves as Vice Chairman of Eaton JV with COMAC in Shanghai, China. He is a member of the Aerospace Industry Association’s (AIA) executive committee, a distinguished alumnus, Hall of Famer and member of the Board at Wayne State College of Engineering, and a member of the Board of United Way of Orange County.

Nanda holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bangalore University in India, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
