Norine Amato is the Director of the Mission Exploitation (MEX) Operating Unit, providing Enterprise Mission Command and Control, Services and Frameworks supporting national security and defense customers.

In this role, Norine is responsible for program execution across the MEX program portfolio, including internal research and development efforts. Norine interfaces with the programs’ customer base, providing program advocacy, and serving as the next line of communication. She is also responsible for guiding the business development team to create a robust pipeline of new business opportunities, as well as furthering team engagement.

Since joining Northrop Grumman in 2008, Norine has demonstrated strong leadership and built customer intimacy while contributing in a variety of roles and responsibilities. Norine has held leadership and management positions in both Engineering and Program Management.

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Norine served nine years as an Active Duty Army Officer (Signal Corps) in a variety of leadership and staff positions, to include a year-long deployment in Iraq.

Norine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York and a Master of Science degree in Space Systems Engineering Management from Webster University.
