Bio

Mr. Mark Colley was appointed as the Director, Combat Support & Combat Service Support Readiness & Sustainment Directorate in June of 2018 after serving three years as the TACOM Deputy Chief of Staff, G4.

Mr. Colley started his career at TACOM in 2005 as an Equipment Specialist and has held many positions since then to include; Maintenance System Manager, Integrated Logistics Support Manager, System Acquisition Manager, Assistant Product Manager, Product Manager, Group Chief, CBM+ Program Director, and Director of Maintenance.   

Mr. Colley retired from the U.S. Army in 2005 after serving more than 20 years. While on active duty Mark served in a variety of leadership positions to include, Squad Leader, Motor Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Drill Sergeant, Senior Maintenance Supervisor, and First Sergeant.

Mr. Colley has deployed to multiple combat operations while on Active Duty and as a DoD Civilian including, Operation Just Cause, Operations Desert Shield/Storm, and Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.

His awards and decorations include the Combat Action Badge, 3 awards of the Bronze Star, 4 awards of the Meritorious Service Medal, 6 awards of the Army Commendation Medal, and 9 awards of the Army Achievement Medal. Mr. Colley was also awarded the Humanitarian Service Medal and the Drill Sergeant, Air Assault, Driver and Mechanic badges. Mr. Colley’s civilian awards include the Superior Civilian Service Award, Commanders Award for Civilian Service, and 2 awards of the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service.

Mr. Colley is Level III certified in both Life Cycle Logistics and Program Management. He is a member of The Army Acquisition Corps, The Ordnance Corps, and The Field Artillery Corps.  He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Cleary University and a Master’s Degree in Program Management & Business Administration from the Naval Post Graduate School.

Mark and his wife Cindy have been married for 21 years, they have two sons Jake and Christopher. In his spare time Mark also serves as an on call EMT/Fire Fighter with the New Haven, Michigan Fire Department.
