Bio

Dominick (Dom) Edwards enlisted in the US Army in 1989. Following his initial assignment in Germany, he attended the United States Military Academy Preparatory School. He then entered the United States Military Academy and was commissioned as an Armor Officer in 1995. He commanded a Tank Company and Combined Arms Battalion has served in numerous key command and staff positions in Armor and Infantry units in CONUS, Korea, Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Other key assignments include Small Group Instructor, Infantry Captains Career Course; Team Chief, Infantry Captains Career Course; Chief of Plans (G5), 25th Infantry Division; Operations Officer and Executive Officer, 2-27 Infantry (The Wolfhounds); Chief, US Army Armor School Commander’s Initiatives Group; and Chief, MCOE Concepts Development Branch. Upon retirement from active duty, he served as an analyst in the MCOE’s Concept Development Division. Currently he is the Deputy Director of the Army Capability Manager, Stryker Brigade Combat Team (ACM SBCT). He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Military Academy and a Master of Science from the School of Advanced Military Studies.
