Bio

Chris Hart has over 15 years of experience in the high reliability market, where he excelled in various design, marketing, and applications leadership roles. 

Chris currently leads IR HiRel’s global marketing and business development team.  This team is responsible for defining the product and technology development roadmap for high reliability applications. He also overseas IR HiRel’s business operations team.

In his previous role with Microchip / Microsemi he served as the Director of Marketing & Business Development for Aerospace and Defense (A&D) and the A&D Director of Marketing and Applications for the Discrete and Power Management Business unit.

Prior to joining Microsemi, Chris served as the Space Marketing Manager for Texas Instruments. There he successfully implemented a rad hard by process, and a rad hard by design, product strategy to bring multiple new space products and technologies to market.  

Prior to transitioning to the semiconductor industry, Chris was a Principal Electrical Design Lead at Honeywell, primarily focused on A&D applications.  During his time at Honeywell, Chris led the design for both the C&DH payload single board computer for Orion's Crew Exploration Vehicle, and the main engine controller for Aerojet's RS-25 & J2X engines.

Chris holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (EE) and a minor in System’s engineering from The University of Florida.
