The 2020 Global Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Symposium & Exhibition team continues to monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. Currently, the 2020 Global EOD Symposium & Exhibition is scheduled to occur as published. The health and safety of our event participants, members, and partners remains our top priority and we are committed to following the guidelines and precautions as outlined by the CDC.
NDIA is fully prepared to adjust any and all plans if the situation changes. We are following – and will remain in compliance with – all city, state, and federal guidelines. If the direction from the federal, state, or local official public health authorities does changes between now and the event, we will adhere to that guidance and act upon it immediately and will update everyone.
The NDIA team recognizes the importance of convening the national security and defense communities to promote the best policies, practices, products, and technology for warfighters and others who ensure the safety and security of our nation. Thank you for continuing to support and we hope to see you soon.

Join us for the 2020 Global Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Symposium & Exhibition, produced by NDIA in partnership with the EOD Warrior Foundation, as we examine innovation in training and technology for the international EOD, public safety bomb squad (PSBS), and UXO/demining community. As military members attend this event complimentarily, you can expect to interact with numerous EOD technicians in uniform from all Services’ operational units as well as program managers and resource sponsors from the Pentagon. There will be attendees and speakers/panelists from the Interagency to include ATF, FBI, and the DHS Office of Bombing Prevention. Traditionally, we have a strong showing from NATO and expect to have representatives again from the NATO C-IED and EOD Centers of Excellence.
The Global EOD Symposium & Exhibition continues in its 11th year as an NDIA event in partnership with the EOD Warrior Foundation and is the preeminent annual event for the EOD, PSBS, and UXO/demining community.
Moreover, this year marks the first time that this symposium will be co-located with the 2020 International Explosives Safety Symposium & Exhibition! This year’s Global Explosive Ordnance Disposal exhibit hall will be bigger and more robust than ever.
*Please note: This event is open to the press. Please view our media guidelines for details.
*Data is based on 2019 event attendance
