NDIA is pleased to announce that the Kansas City National Security Campus (NSC), located twenty minutes from the conference hotel, will be hosting a tour of their facility.

Kansas City NSC Information 

The Kansas City National Security Campus is a state-of-the-art LEED® Gold-rated manufacturing and engineering facility. The modern campus showcases environmentally friendly features and innovative space management. Its award-winning design reflects the scientific nature of the DoE's work to support national security throughout the campus while inspiring and celebrating the manufacturing and engineering culture. For more information, please visit: kcnsc.doe.gov.


There is no additional fee to participate in the tour, however, registration to attend will be required. You may register using the overall Fuze registration and selecting this option. Registration is limited to the first 48 attendees and is on a first come, first served basis.

Please note, tours are open to U.S. citizens only and attendees must be able to present a valid photo ID, including driver’s license, passport or HSPD12 badge. There are no exceptions to this rule.


Transportation to the Kansas City NSC will be on your own. Travel time from the hotel to the plant is approximately 30 minutes.

Kansas City NSC Restrictions 

No electronic devices are allowed in the Kansas City NSC, including cell phones, ipads, cameras, and fit-bits. Please leave all electronic devices in your vehicle.  

The Kansas City International Airport is located 45 minutes from Kansas City NSC. If you have a Thursday afternoon flight, please note that the Kansas City NSC does not allow luggage, including backpacks into the facility. Please plan accordingly when you are checking out of your hotel room. If you have a rental car, please store luggage there. 

Proper attire includes no open-toed nor open-heeled shoes, no high heels more than 2 inches, and no shorts, tank tops, or ripped jeans (business casual preferred).
