Below is general information of the submission process. 


The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) welcomes your abstract submission for presentation at 63rd Annual NDIA Fuze Conference. The conference will follow the theme: Next Generation Fuzing for Next Generation Weapons.

Domestic and allied fuze designers, manufacturers and component suppliers, along with research organizations and government representatives are invited to submit brief, high-impact abstracts of technical accomplishments and research-based recommendations relevant to the theme and presentation topics outlined below. The complete and detailed call for abstracts can be download here. NDIA is not currently accepting abstracts. 

Focus Areas

Please note the following topics are suggested. Presenters are encouraged to select fresh topics which would be of interest this audience. The complete call for abstract document outlines sub-topics under each focus area:

  • Engineering
  • Design Description

How to Submit

Abstracts must be UNCLASSIFIED and cleared for public release, distribution unlimited (Distribution A).

An automated confirmation will be sent upon submission. Please note: Submitting an abstract is a professional commitment. If the abstract is accepted, the Author commits to attend the event. If an Author is unable to attend the conference, then it is incumbent upon him or her to find a substitute. Authors are responsible for obtaining appropriate public release for their presentations.
