Upon arrival, you will need to bring a valid photo ID to show to the SOFWERX team to receive your badge.

There will be a printed copy of the program onsite. The agenda will include information about both days of the meeting.

SOFWERX opens promptly at 8:00 am. You will not have access into the building prior to 8:00 am. 

Wi-Fi will be available in the meeting room. Details will be provided upon your arrival to SOFWERX.

During this meeting, attendees will also have an opportunity to take a short tour of the SOFWERX facility and learn more about SOFWERX’s current projects for USSOCOM. This tour will be built into the meeting’s agenda, open to both domestic and foreign attendees, and has no clothing/shoe requirements.

Appropriate dress for the symposium is business attire. Please note: No military uniforms are permitted at the SOFWERX headquarters.

SOFWERX was created under a Partnership Intermediary Agreement, established in September of 2015, between DEFENSEWERX and the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Located in Tampa, FL, SOFWERX has a very dynamic environment designed to create a rate of return on collision for all participants. DEFENSEWERX (DWX) is a 501(c)3, nonprofit organization headquartered in Niceville, FL. Modeled after the rapid innovation and problem solving necessary to modify and deploy B-25 bombers from aircraft carriers, DWX provides technology transfer, innovation, collaboration, prototyping, workforce development and STEM outreach. DWX has five innovation hubs located across the U.S. including SOFWERX, Doolittle Institute, AFWERX Vegas, MGMWERX and ERDCWERX.
