Panel on Implementing the National Defense Strategy

Written in 2018, the National Defense Strategy lists several challenges we are facing coming from "strategic atrophy" and an eroding "competitive military advantage." The strategy calls for a "more lethal, resilient, and rapidly innovating Joint Force," to meet these needs. It's imperative that we face these challenges head-on in order to "Implement the Strategy." The strategy calls for "creative approaches...sustained investment...execution...that can compete, deter, and win, in this increasingly complex security environment."
