Distribution D Restricted Access

The Armament Division has established an agenda which discusses armament system and technology advancements that respond to the evolving threats and has included several session that are restricted to US and DoD or US DoD contractors.  These sessions are only open to qualified attendees who have preregistered and have been certified to attend.  

THERE WILL BE NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION FOR THESE SESSIONS.

The Armament Divisions encourages the inclusion of presentations and participation of speakers with topics limited to US Only or restricted Distribution such as DOD Distribution D. NDIA and the Division has established a procedure for approval of conference attendees to attend these briefings etc. The procedure will require valid US Passport, and confirmation of DOD Contractor approval to access unclassified, export controlled technical data/critical technology (DD Form 2345).

The material to be presented and discussed in these sessions may involve technical data that are governed by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 5230.25, November 6, 1984, "Withholding of Unclassified Technical Data from Public Disclosure". Consequently, attendance is limited to U.S. and Canadian citizens and intending citizens (formerly "resident aliens") of either country who are registered with the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP).

Representatives of the US Department of Defense (DOD) or Canadian Department of National Defense (DND) contractors attending this event and desiring to access the Distribution D sessions must comply with the following:

Before traveling to the Forum:

(1) Submit a copy of their facility's original approved signed DD Form 2345 active certification to (insert NDIA POC contact information) no later than 16 April 2018.  This form is usually available from your company's security or contracting officer.  Information on applying for a DD2345 (Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement) is available here:  http://www.dla.mil/HQ/InformationOperations/Offers/Products/LogisticsApplications/JCP/DD2345Instructions.aspx

The copy of the DD Form 2345 certification must be submitted to Meredith Mangas at mmangas@ndia.org

When at the Forum:

(2) Present a photo ID from a US Government agency (e.g., Common Access Card (CAC) or current Passport) to verify citizenship and employment to gain entrance to the Distribution D presentation room.

(3) Check their electronic devices (e.g., Computer, Mobile Phone, Camera, etc.) at the entrance to the Distribution D presentation room for safekeeping during the presentations.

Contractor representatives will not be cleared to access the Distribution D session on-site at the event if they do not comply with the instructions above.
