Added Value Selling 

Course Description: In this course you will learn that ‘added value’ is not simply adding ‘bells and whistles’ to your company product or service. In fact, true ‘added value’ comes with helping your customer understand the difference between ‘cost’ and ‘price’ – all while building a partnership based upon using critical information to meet their constantly evolving needs. This is a HANDS-ON, full participation introduction into the world of how to ascertain customer business needs and how to use that information to attach a real dollar amount to your ‘added value proposition’ and win!



Configuration and Data Management (CDM) Certification Program

Course Description: This includes the combined configuration and data management certification reflecting global trends in the CDM profession. It focuses on configuration and data management in commercial, government, and international applications with significant emphasis on data management. Examinations are based on industry, government and international guidance standards, which form the basis for current CDM processes, including an entry-level examination as part of the Apprentice Program. The Recertification process provides currency options for previously NDIA-certified CDM professionals.



Defense Systems Acquisition Management (DSAM)

Course Description: The DSAM Course meets the needs of defense industry program managers in today's dynamic environment, providing the latest information including and related to defense acquisition policy for weapons and information technology systems; defense acquisition, reform, and initiatives; defense acquisition procedures and processes; the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution process; and the Congressional budget process. The result of the successful completion of this course is a comprehensive understanding of the environment and driving forces affecting program managers, which will significantly increase awareness and effectiveness in dealing with programmatic issues.



How Washington Works

Course Description: How Washington Works is ideal for those who are new to or routinely do business with the DOD. Participants will be provided the fundamental concepts and background of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), Defense Acquisition System (DAS), the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process. Participants will then review how the individual Services and USSOCOM: implement the DOD processes through their requirements generation and justification, and PPBE organizations; have tailored internal processes; and what are their current strategic resource priorities. 



Introduction to IP for Government Contracting

Course Description: This course will introduce the participants to Data Rights, IP to Know and Love, and Data Rights-IP Acquisition Negotiations with An Industry-Government Focus. For those with some existing familiarity, it will expand your knowledge and provide very useful “best practices”.



Mastering Business Development

Course Description: The Mastering Business Development Workshop is an educational and professional development program which focuses on the thinking, process and discipline required for professional Business Development. This course fosters participants’ understanding of the core competencies required for success in the Business Development role.



Persuasive Presentations

Course Description: This course is a hands-on introduction into the world of delivering a powerful presentation, and there will be real-time opportunities to build actual presentations in the class. Each person will have the opportunity to take part in the development and delivery of the final presentation. Following this powerful focus on presentation skills, you will gain additional skills to increase your credibility, understandability, and effectiveness.
