General Walters will hit the USMC “Hot Topics”:

  • Warfare of the Future & Marine Corps Force 2025
  • After 15-16 years of ongoing operations, modernization investments for legacy equipment must become a priority, despite reduced budgets and continuing resolutions
  • As the character of future warfare changes, the USMC must adapt. Marines of the future will need more tech-skills (e.g., cyber, C2 systems, intelligence). Recruitment, training and retention proves to be a challenge.
