Chapter Champions Challenge for 2025
The NDIA and WID Chapter Champions Challenge is designed to recognize Chapters that excel in driving new membership from May 1 through September 30, 2025.
All Chapters must be in good standing, as defined by the Chapter Operating Principles, by September 30, 2025, to be eligible for award consideration. One award per category will be given out.
Except as noted, Chapters are eligible for multiple awards during the eligibility period.
Recruits in any category made prior to May 1, 2025, will not count toward award criteria.
Chapters will continue to receive a 20% rebate for the first-year dues of each new corporate member they recruit.
NDIA Champions Challenge Awards
This award is presented to the NDIA Chapter that recruits the most new* NDIA corporate members (Industry, Industry Partner, or Academic).
Criteria
- NDIA Chapters in this category include Michigan, Tennessee Valley, San Diego, Washington D.C., Rocky Mountain, New England, Gulf Coast, Picatinny, Delaware Valley, and Greater Los Angeles
- Awarded to the NDIA Chapter that recruits the most new* NDIA corporate members from May 1 through September 30, 2025
- To qualify for consideration, a Chapter must recruit a minimum of five (5) new corporate members
Recognition and Incentives
- $1,000 cash award
- Custom 2025 NDIA Chapter Champions Challenge banner for display
- 2025 Chapter Champion digital badge for chapter websites and communications
- Featured recognition at the annual NDIA Leadership Conference, in National Defense magazine, on NDIA social media channels, and in the President’s reports to the NDIA Board of Directors
This award is presented to the Small NDIA Chapter that recruits the most new NDIA corporate members (Industry, Industry Partner, or Academic).
Criteria
- All NDIA Chapters not listed in the Large or Medium Chapter category above
- Awarded to the Small NDIA Chapter that recruits the highest number of new* NDIA corporate members from May 1 through September 30, 2025
- To qualify for consideration, a Chapter must recruit a minimum of three (3) new corporate members

- $750 cash award

- 2025 Chapter Champion digital badge for chapter websites and communications
- Featured recognition at the annual NDIA Leadership Conference, in National Defense magazine, on NDIA social media channels, and in the President’s reports to the NDIA Board of Directors
This award is presented to the NDIA Chapter that recruits the most new paid NDIA individual members (Basic or Industry Professional).
Criteria
- All NDIA Chapters may qualify for this award
- Awarded to the NDIA Chapter that recruits the most new* NDIA paid Individual members from May 1 through September 30, 2025
- To qualify for consideration, a Chapter must recruit a minimum of five (5) new individual members
Recognition and Incentives
- $250 cash award
- 2025 Chapter Champion digital badge for chapter websites and communications
- Featured recognition at the annual NDIA Leadership Conference, in National Defense magazine, on NDIA social media channels, and in the President’s reports to the NDIA Board of Directors
This award is presented to the NDIA Chapter that recruits the most new NDIA individual government members.
Criteria
- All NDIA Chapters may qualify for this award
- Awarded to the NDIA Chapter that recruits the most new* NDIA Individual government members from May 1 through September 30, 2025
- To qualify for consideration, a Chapter must recruit a minimum of five (5) new individual government members
Recognition and Incentives
- $250 cash award
- 2025 Chapter Champion digital badge for chapter websites and communications
- Featured recognition at the annual NDIA Leadership Conference, in National Defense magazine, on NDIA social media channels, and in the President’s reports to the NDIA Board of Directors
- To qualify as a new member, an individual or organization must not have been a member on or after October 1, 2024.
- Individuals or organizations who rejoin NDIA or WID and whose termination date was more than 6 months prior to the rejoin date will also be considered a “new” member for the purposes of the award criteria
WID Champions Challenge Awards
This award is presented to the WID Chapter that recruits the most new* paid WID individual members.
Criteria
- All WID Chapters may qualify for this award
- Awarded to the WID Chapter that recruits the most new* WID paid Individual members from May 1 through September 30, 2025
- To qualify for consideration, a Chapter must recruit a minimum of five (5) new individual members

- Awarded to the NDIA Chapter that recruits the most new* WID Individual government members from May 1 through September 30, 2025
- To qualify for consideration, a Chapter must recruit a minimum of five (5) new individual members
