In Memoriam: NDIA Honors the Life and Legacy of Paula Edwards
The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) mourns the passing of Paula Edwards, a distinguished member of our Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee. As the Founder, President, and CEO of Lexair Corporation, Paula was a trailblazer in the defense industry and a steadfast advocate for innovation, integrity, and excellence.
“Paula was unwavering in her dedication to national defense. She brought expertise and dedication to the NDIA Board and to NDIA’s mission,” said Hon. Lisa S. Disbrow, NDIA Board Chair. “Her absence will be deeply felt by all who served with her.”
Those who had the privilege of working with Paula spoke of her authenticity, warmth, and unwavering honesty. Her example set a tone of trust and collaboration that will be felt for years to come.
NDIA CEO and President David Norquist reflected on Paula’s contributions, saying, “Paula Edwards embodied the values of leadership and service that NDIA holds dear. Her voice was one of wisdom, candor, and deep commitment to our national defense. We are grateful for her many contributions and honored to have worked alongside her.”
NDIA extends heartfelt condolences to Paula’s family, friends, and colleagues. Her legacy will continue to guide and inspire our work in support of the nation’s defense.
