Secretary of the Navy to Address Maritime Statecraft at NDIA DVC Naval Conference - Exclusive Media Roundtable to Follow

Philadelphia, PA – The National Defense Industrial Association's Delaware Valley Chapter (NDIA DVC) is proud to announce that the Honorable Carlos Del Toro, Secretary of the Navy, will deliver a keynote speech on "Maritime Statecraft in the Era of Intense Strategic Competition" at the upcoming Naval Nuclear Submarine and Aircraft Carrier Supplier Conference. This highly anticipated address is set for Thursday, December 14th at 8:30 AM, at Drexel University in Philadelphia.

Secretary Del Toro's speech promises to offer vital insights into naval diplomacy and a national, whole-of-government effort to build comprehensive U.S. and allied maritime power, both commercial and naval. This session is not only pivotal for defense community members but also holds significant importance for the media, as it addresses critical aspects of national and international security.

In a special arrangement, members of the press are invited to attend Secretary Del Toro's keynote speech. Additionally, following the address, there will be an exclusive media roundtable, providing an opportunity for in-depth discussions and Q&A with the Secretary. This roundtable is a unique chance for press to engage directly with top leadership in the U.S. Navy on pressing issues in maritime defense and strategy.

It is important to note that while the keynote speech and the subsequent media roundtable are open to the press, other sessions of the conference will be closed to media attendees.
