Robert Wilkie, confirmed Monday as VA secretary
ARLINGTON, VA – The National Defense Industrial Association congratulates Robert Wilkie, overwhelmingly confirmed Monday by the Senate as the next secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Wilkie’s record of public service, both as an officer in the Naval Reserve and as a civilian on Capitol Hill, in the Pentagon and in the White House, is inspiring and has prepared him well to lead the men and women serving America’s veterans.
NDIA looks forward to Wilkie’s leadership and to the guidance he’ll provide to all stakeholders in the important mission of ensuring those who have served are given the service they deserve in return.
