Tanya Coogan named NDIA Director, Membership & Chapter Relations

Tanya Coogan - Director, Membership and Chapter Relations

The National Defense Industrial Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Tanya Coogan as Director, Membership and Chapter Relations.

In this role, Coogan will be responsible for directing the membership recruitment and retention operations of NDIA with an emphasis on membership value for our corporate, academic, individual and government service members.   She will leverage the strength of NDIAs existing programs which are resident across our 36 divisions, affiliates, working groups and committees, while connecting existing and prospective members to new and exciting opportunities.   Tanya will also provide enterprise-level support to NDIA’s 29 chapters located across the continental United States and Hawaii. 

Coogan has been a passionate nonprofit executive for over 14 years. She brings with her experience and expertise from multiple associations in the greater DC area

Tanya has a Bachelor’s Degree from Delta University and a Master’s in Recreational Therapy from the University of Southern Mississippi.  She also holds a certificate in Association Management from Georgetown University.
