Carlisle presents awards at annual Michigan chapter gala

Mark Signorelli of BAE Systems and Hawk Carlisle of NDIA at the 73rd annual dinner and award celebration of the Michigan chapter, held July 21.

Mark Signorelli, deputy president and vice president of business development and strategic planning for platforms and services at BAE Systems, was honored by the National Defense Industrial Association’s Michigan Chapter for outstanding contributions and service to the region and defense industry.

Retired Air Force Gen. Hawk Carlisle, NDIA’s president and chief executive officer, presented Signorelli with an award at the chapter’s 73rd annual black-tie dinner and meeting, held July 21 at the Grosse Point Yacht Club.

 Beth Cryderman-Moss was sworn in as the new chapter president at the event, at which about 250 people attended.

 Also noted were chapter events over the past year, including the annual Ground Vehicle Systems Engineering and Technology Symposium (GVSETS) & Advanced Planning Briefings for Industry (APBI), the Cybersecurity Defense Sector Summit, and the Michigan Defense Exposition.
