Introduction
Ground Vehicle Systems Engineering and Technology Symposium
Over the course of three days, 1200 attendees will listen to high-level Government speakers talk about their respective plans and priorities. Included will be several panels that allow technical participants to talk with each other. This year’s event will continue to focus on collaboration.
"The fact that one in three attendees represented a Government organization is huge for industry. No other venue allows the same type of in-depth communication between Government and Industry." stated Don Kotchman, NDIA MI Chapter President, which sums up how important this event is.
GVSETS 2011 will feature several panels, which will once again include the popular senior executive industry panel where they will share their vision for further collaboration with each other and their Army customers.
In 2010 over 300 papers were submitted with less than half of those selected for publication after extensive technical peer review. Our plan is to continue this effort again for 2011. The selected papers will be presented during five separate "mini-symposia". Our goal is that our participants will be inspired to work together to create the types of technical breakthroughs that our Warfighters need to dominate the battlefield and return home safely.
Call for Abstracts – to be released early February 2011
Topics of focus for Mini-symposia:
Modeling and Simulation, Testing and Validation
Vehicle Electronics and Architecture
System Engineering and Integration
Power & Mobility
Robotic Systems
