Due to overwhelming response – we have reached capacity for the conference, registration for the Classified Sessions at Bellows AFS are now closed (now sold-out). 

Space is still available for both Industry & government and personnel are welcome to register for the 1 ½ day/unclassified sessions to be held at the Hilton Hawaiian, on Mon/Tues., Aug. 3-4.

Registration was a two-step process; both your registration and security information must have been received to be registered. Submittal of your security certification form alone does/did not register you for this conference.

The U.S. Pacific Command Science & Technology Advisor's office, in conjunction with NDIA, will conduct the 2009 Pacific Operational Science & Technology Conference, which will focus on “Synchronizing Operators and Technologists” and how operational leadership can best utilize S&T resources. 

The shuttle bus sign-up list has reached capacity.  Current shuttle sign-up is on a “wait-list” only basis.

Attendees who have been “waitlisted” for the shuttle bus need to plan on and make alternate transportation plans for attending the classified sessions being held at Bellows AFS on Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6.

Deposits/Confirmation
The Hilton Hawaiian Village hotel requires a first night’s deposit, refundable up to 72 days in advance of your arrival date.  Checks and major credit cards are accepted; credit cards will be charged immediately to establish pre-payment.

Early Departure Fee
In the event a guest checks out prior to the guest’s reserved check-out date, the hotel will add an early check-out fee to that guest’s individual account.  Guests wishing to avoid an early check-out fee, should advise the Hilton Hawaiian Village at or before check-in of any change in planned length of stay.

Check-in/Check-out Time
The Hilton Hawaiian Village check-in time is 2:00 p.m. and the check-out time is 11:00 a.m.  We offer additional options for guests for guests that may need to stay the hotel after check-out time.

Check-out Options
Luggage storage is available for departing guests by visiting the luggage center on the ground level of the Diamond Head Tower.  Also available is the bell desk in the main lobby or the Kalia Tower lobby.  Overnight luggage storage is not available.

  1. You must “log-in” under each individual’s Customer ID and password login information.

  6. Please click the “Register Now” button on the right.  Please log back-in to register the next individual (repeating the steps above).

  1. Either verify your account with your email address or enter your user name and password.
  2. If a match is found and it is you, you can request a new password.

Foreign Payments
Registration fees must be paid by credit card, U.S. Government Purchase Orders only (e.g. DD1556), check, or electronic transfer.  Checks must be drawn on U.S. banks in U.S. ($) dollars.  NDIA does not accept foreign government purchase orders and will not invoice them for payment.  If paying by electronic transfer, the total amount received by NDIA must be calculated as follows: [$Registration fee + any incurred Bank, wiring, and/or Conversion fees].  Please include the name of the attendee and event # in the transfer information.

Cancellations, Substitutions, and Requests for Refunds
Any/all cancellations, substitutions and/or requests for refunds must be submitting in writing.  Cancellation refund requests submitted by phone or voicemail will not be accepted.  Registrants who are unable to attend the conference must fax or e-mail their cancellation or refund request on or before Thursday, July 23rd, 2009, to the attention of Angie De Kleine at fax # 703-522-4656, or via e-mail: adekleine@ndia.org.  A $75.00 administrative fee will be applied to ALL cancellations received on/before cob Thursday, July 23rd, 2009.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR CANCELLATIONS RECEIVED AFTER 5:00 P.M./EST, THURSDAY, JULY 23rd 2009.

Refunds WILL NOT be issued for no-shows.
If attendee HAS NOT submitted payment for his/her registration, and DOES NOT attend the conference, or cancel by the deadline, he/she WILL BE INVOICED for the registration fee balance due.

We do not issue refunds for the sole purpose of switching forms of payment; please be sure you are registering with the correct form of payment (a fee will be applied to those wishing to switch forms of payment).

Refunds are a two step process (1st the registration cancellation refund paperwork is processed by the ASC registration department; 2nd that paperwork is then turned over to the NDIA accounting department.  The refund process can take up to 5-14 business days to actually see the credit).

Substitutions are welcome!  Substitutions must be submitted in writing by the original registrant, by faxing to 703-522-4656.  If requesting a substitution, please indicate if payment (if already received by NDIA) is to be transferred to the new attendee or refunded to the original registrant.

If submitting your cancellation/refund request by fax, please keep a copy of the fax confirmation receipt for your records.

This cancellation/refund policy applies to all attendees regardless of their method of payment, registration and/or reasons for cancellation.

Identification Badges
Each attendee will be issued an identification badge during On-Site registration check-in, provided all registration and security materials have been submitted and processed on-time.  You must show proper government issued photo ID to be presented with your conference identification badge.  You will not be admitted into the conference without your badge.

Final Agenda/Attendee Roster
A final agenda and attendee roster will be distributed at the conference.  Your registration and payment must be received by Monday, July 13, 2009 to be included in the roster.  An updated roster will NOT be printed after the conference.

Attendee Information

The shuttle bus sign-up list has reached capacity.  Current shuttle sign-up is on a “wait-list” only basis.

Attendees who have been “waitlisted” for the shuttle bus need to plan on and make alternate transportation plans for attending the classified sessions being held at Bellows AFS on Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6.

Instructions:

  1. Each attendee must present a valid, government-issued photo ID, Common Access Card, or state-issued picture driver’s license to gain admittance to the conference.

  2. Briefcases, recorders, cameras, or electronic devices of any kind will not be allowed in the session rooms.  Handbags will be thoroughly inspected.

Our classified sessions will be divided into three break-out session tracks. Please number your preference of tracks from the following:

          Due to the focused nature of the classified sessions, USPACOM Science & Technology Advisor office is managing government registration for 5-6 August classified sessions by invitation only.
